The field of ophthalmology in Ho Chi Minh City is rapidly establishing itself as a leader in the Southern region through advancements in clinical applications, specialized training, and scientific research.
In order to provide a platform for ophthalmologists in Ho Chi Minh City to network and share experiences with peers from across the nation and world-renowned experts, the Ho Chi Minh City Eye Hospital, in partnership with the Ho Chi Minh City Ophthalmology Association, is thrilled to announce The 3rd Ho Chi Minh City Ophthalmology Conference, scheduled for June 29th and 30th, 2024. The event will take place at the Conference Hall, 1st Floor – 272 Conference Center, Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City.
This conference will feature a series of specialized training sessions encompassing 10 distinct tracks and over 80 comprehensive presentations on various topics including Cornea, Glaucoma, Vitreoretinal Surgery, Refractive Surgery, Pediatric Ophthalmology, Neuro-ophthalmology, and Nursing Care. Moreover, workshops focusing on cutting-edge techniques like selective laser trabeculoplasty and adhesive methods for corneal perforation treatment will be conducted, generating significant interest within the ophthalmology community.
The conference is proud to host approximately 20 esteemed international experts hailing from countries such as the United States, Hong Kong, Japan, India, Singapore, and Thailand. Among the highlighted scientific presentations are “Update on Melanoma of the Uveal Tract with Brachytherapy,” “Artificial Intelligence in Ophthalmology: From Algorithms to Practical Solutions and Products,” and “Optic Neuropathies: Diagnosis and Management in 2024,” delivering insights into the latest global advancements in the application of artificial intelligence in ophthalmic diagnosis and treatment.
